San Diego Classic Info:
Varsity & JV team will play in the San Diego
Classic Tournament this summer. The dates are Thursday, July 15 – Sunday, July 18, 2010.
The San Diego Classic Tournament has special rates at the Hilton San Diego Mission
Valley of $139 per night, plus tax/fees = Approximately $157.00 total per night, plus
there is a fee of $14 per day for self-parking. We have reserved reserved 8 rooms (3
rooms for Varsity & 3 rooms for JV) placing 4 players in each room and 2 rooms for
Coaches. Coach Mike will be taking 12 Varsity players and 12 JV players. Coach will
make that determination by July 1st.
Each player will be responsible for approximately $157.00 for their hotel stay for
the three nights that is due to the program by July 8th. There will be four players to
a room with two queen size beds. If parents are interested in attending they are eligible
to receive the same tournament rate. Parents will be given a room with either 1 king
size bed or 2 queen size beds. There are no refrigerators in the rooms. Parents can
make reservations by calling (800) 682-6099 and mention the Group Code “SDCG” to
get the tournament rate. Even though you don’t know whether your daughter will
be invited to attend the tournament, I suggest that you make reservations now so
that you will get the tournament rate. The policy for cancellation is 24 hours prior
to arrival so you can always cancel in July when the determination on who will be
invited to travel has been made by Coach Mike. Also, your parent reps will be back
in touch with you as we get closer to the departure date so that we can make sure that
all players have transportation.
